What does a successful .Net/C# Technical Lead Software Developer do at Fiserv?

A successful .Net/C# Technical Lead Software Developer directs the continuous enhancement, innovation, and maintenance of the Payments Exchange Fedwire platform that supports high-volume, high-value wire transmissions. They translate regulatory changes, client needs, and strategic growth goals into secure, resilient product capabilities and integrations. They guide technical direction through architecture decisions, code quality, and cross-functional execution.

What you will do?

  • Develop and maintain the Payments Exchange Fedwire product to ensure robustness, scalability, high availability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Architect, design, and implement new features in response to regulatory changes, client requests, and strategic product expansion goals.
  • Partner with Product Management, Quality Assurance, and Customer Support to align delivery with customer needs and company goals.
  • Implement and maintain security and compliance controls, and troubleshoot complex issues to minimize disruption to wire transmission services.
  • Lead technical decisions through code reviews, design discussions, modern engineering best practices, and integration expansion with banking cores, FX partners, and correspondent banks.

What you must have?

  • 12+ years of software development experience with .NET/C# and MS-SQL.
  • 3+ years of experience building SOAP/XML web services using .NET Core, Swagger, and OAuth 2.0.
  • 3+ years of experience using CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, Fortify) and automated testing frameworks.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

What would be nice to have?

  • 3+ years of experience integrating with banking cores, FX partners, or correspondent banks.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting wire transactions platforms and related regulatory compliance requirement.
  • Master's degree (1) in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Salary Range

$128,000.00 - $216,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
