Senior Software Engineer (Contract)

Our client is building payment automation technology that powers reliable experiences across millions of transactions, and they're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design and scale the backend services behind it. You'll own work end to end - taking requirements, shaping the design, and deploying - while collaborating daily with an established engineering team. If you have strong object-oriented fundamentals and you like building backend systems that operate at real scale, this is a chance to do hands-on, high-impact work in a fast-moving environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and payment automation features
  • Own the full development cycle - translate requirements into design, then build and deploy
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions

  • Help turn business needs into practical technical designs and development plans

  • 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience
