Position Description:
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team to help us support a program for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a proven track record of resolving software issues and implementing enhancements. As a Software Developer, you will act as a team leader on projects, guiding and directing the work of other developers. You will also participate in the development of software user manuals and contribute to the overall success of our development team.
This position can be located anywhere CONUS
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Designs, develops, and enhances accounting logic and financial processing solutions within Oracle EBS to support the implementation of the Accounting Treatment Manual (ATM).
. Ensures accurate transaction mapping, SLA configuration, and audit-compliant financial processing aligned with USSGL and DoD standards.
. Contributes to system integration, testing, and documentation to enable end-to-end financial traceability and consistency.
. Develop and enhance Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules, Auto-Accounting logic, and transaction mappings.
. Implement ATM-aligned accounting logic across EBS modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, Projects, etc.).
. Support design and development of RICE-FW components (interfaces, extensions, reports).
. Analyze and resolve posting logic discrepancies and audit issues.
. Develop and maintain financial data mappings aligned to USSGL, SFIS, and DoD standards.
. Support integration with upstream/downstream systems impacting financial transactions.
. Participate in Development Integration Testing (DIT), System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
. Produce technical documentation, mapping documents, and configuration guides.
. Collaborate with functional SMEs to translate accounting requirements into technical solutions.
. Support data validation, reconciliation, and audit traceability.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. Must possess an active DOD Secret Clearance or be immediately eligible to obtain one. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
. 2-10 years of relevant experience in Oracle EBS Financials development.
. Relevant Oracle or ERP certification preferred.
. Strong experience with Subledger Accounting (SLA), auto-accounting and account generator, General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA).
. Experience implementing or supporting USSGL, SFIS, or federal financial standards.
. Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, XML Publisher (BI Publisher), Oracle Workflow and Interface development.
. Experience with financial data mapping and transaction processing logic.
. Experience supporting audit readiness, reconciliation, and financial traceability.
. Experience working in Agile (SAFe preferred) environments.
. Strong understanding of RICE-FW development lifecycle.
. Ability to multi-task, deconflict priorities, and accountable for all assigned projects/tasks under broad guidance.
. Experience with DAI / Oracle Federal Financials.
. Knowledge of TFM, FIAR, and DoD audit requirements.
. Experience integrating with external systems (e.g., logistics, asset systems like DPAS/ELMS).
. Exposure to data analytics platforms (Oracle ADW, Databricks, or similar) for financial reporting.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $176,300.00.
