We are looking for a Financial Service Associate to join our team. This back-office role requires strong administrative skills along with familiarity of all core aspects of wealth management and investment account types. We are looking for people who are driven, committed and who are passionate about what they do. You need to be extremely detail oriented and organized.

As a member of the Financial Services Team, your role would entail:

  • Assisting the Tax Department through the compilation of necessary documentation required for the Tax team to effectively complete routine tax returns
  • Assisting the Will and Estate Department through the compilation of necessary documentation required for the Will and Estate Department team to effectively complete routine Will and Estate plans
  • Assisting the Financial Planning Department through the compilation of necessary information required for the Financial Plan team to effectively complete financial plans
  • Assisting the Insurance Department through the compilation of necessary information required for the Insurance team to effectively provide quotes to clients who are interested in insurance product offerings
  • Reviewing and validating new account documentation
  • Evaluating information gathered from multiple sources ensuring consistency
  • Following up and reporting on missing documentation/information

Job Requirements:

Must-have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of applicable experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of various investment types and investment accounts
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work accurately under pressure
  • Ability to work in person full-time

Nice-to-have:

  • Completion or working towards the completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation
