  • Job Title: Part-Time Service Associate
  • Location: Roanoke, INย 
  • Schedule: Approximately 20-25 hours per weekย 
  • Hours: M - F 10:00a-2:00p; occasional Saturday rotation 8:00a-12:00p

Position Summary

The Part-Time Service Associate serves as a frontline representative of the branch, providing excellent customer service while processing routine financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency. This role supports day-to-day branch operations by assisting customers with deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account-related questions while following established policies, procedures, and security standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally and provide a welcoming branch experience.
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and check cashing transactions accurately.
  • Balance cash drawer and maintain accurate transaction records throughout the workday.
  • Verify customer identity and follow all security procedures and internal controls.
  • Answer routine account and service questions or direct customers to the appropriate team member.
  • Promote awareness of bank products and services by identifying customer needs and making appropriate referrals.
  • Assist with branch opening, closing, and daily operational tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information.
  • Support compliance with all policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Cash handling, balancing, or retail transaction experience preferred.
  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow procedures consistently.
  • Flexible availability within branch operating hours, including occasional Saturdaysย
