How You'll Make an Impact

As a Senior Financial Analyst, Plant Operations, you'll be at the forefront of our business, driving financial performance, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making for the Deer Park manufacturing site. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life. In this role, you will:

  • Monitor operating performance against forecast, budget, and prior year results, providing meaningful variance analysis and actionable business insights.
  • Lead inter-month and intra-month forecasting activities, ensuring visibility to key variance drivers and recovery actions.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, performance reporting, and financial reviews.
  • Prepare and communicate financial results to operations and business leadership teams.
  • Partner with plant leadership to identify opportunities for cost optimization, productivity improvements, and operational excellence.
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes for Deer Park manufacturing operations.
  • Evaluate capital projects through financial analysis and business case development.
  • Participate in inventory counts and reconciliation activities while strengthening financial controls and compliance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that streamline reporting, standardize processes, and mitigate financial risk.

Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, manufacturing finance, or related disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Proven ability to translate financial data into business insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across operations, engineering, and corporate functions.
  • Ability to independently solve complex problems and manage projects with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications that Drive You Forward

  • Experience in plant accounting, cost accounting, manufacturing finance, operations finance, procurement, or supply chain finance.
  • Advanced analytical and reporting capabilities using Power BI, Business Objects, SharePoint, or advanced Excel tools.
  • Familiarity with inventory management, cost analysis, and manufacturing performance metrics.
