What it's like to be a Northbridge Risk Services Specialist, Commercial Auto:

Northbridge Financial Risk Services Specialists (Commercial Auto) work hard to conduct mid-size and large account risk evaluations; providing advanced consultative risk improvement and prevention services. They act as Account Managers and provide a full range of corporate training and education programs to assigned customers to help mitigate potential future risk.

Our Specialists are passionate about loss exposure and trends; this means thoroughly identifying hazards and controls for risks through site assessments and customer interviews. Working both autonomously in the field as well as collaborating with Brokers and NBFC Underwriters, they develop best practices and are subject matter experts.

This position will be regionally responsible for Northern Alberta and the Prairies.

  • Building strong relationships and partnerships

  • Effective time management and strategic planning

You have:

  • Min. 10 years of Risk Management within Transportation Safety experience

  • Min. 5 years of transportation operations and trucking experience

  • Experience within the insurance industry, considered an asset

  • Completed a 3 or 4 year Post-Secondary program

  • Director of Safety Designation or equivalent training/experience, considered an asset

  • Class 5 Driver's License
