Job description

This role reports directly to the Controller, working closely with the CFO, Tax Director, Accounting Directors, and other senior finance leaders. The Director, Treasury and Risk Management will lead Perficient's global treasury functions and support the execution of the Company's financial strategies. This role is responsible for managing global treasury operations, policies, procedures, controls, and strategic initiatives related to company-wide cash management, foreign exchange exposure, debt management, bank account management, hedging strategies, investments, risk management, insurance, real estate and lease management for the office portfolio, and other treasury activities. The Director, Treasury and Risk Management will provide leadership, oversight, and business partnership across the organization to ensure effective liquidity management, risk mitigation, compliance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead treasury management systems and transaction processing, including system implementations, bank account reporting, payments and disbursements, comprehensive cash management, and global cash flow forecasting.
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce company-wide treasury policies, internal controls, and governance standards, including implementation and ongoing management of a SOX control framework for the Treasury function.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial and investment banking partners; manage the global banking structure, settlement of cash flows, related controls, and compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Lead the design and execution of global foreign exchange exposure policies and procedures, including the hedging program; monitor foreign exchange risk and recommend strategies to reduce exposure.
  • Develop and enhance reporting and modeling capabilities to support M&A funding requirements and short-term and long-term liquidity forecasting needs.
  • Set and manage investment, hedging, and other treasury-related policies and procedures to mitigate global treasury risks in alignment with the Company’s strategy.
  • Oversee global insurance programs, including managing relationships with insurance brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee global real estate portfolio management and internal/external real estate partnerships.
  • Partner with the Tax Director on strategies to maximize the efficiency of the global cash management program.
  • Preparation and filing of annual Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts reporting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in finance, economics, accounting, or business.
  • 8-10 years of progressive professional experience in treasury, finance, accounting, or related fields, including experience managing global treasury functions; prior people leadership or team management experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cash, liquidity, banking relationships, and treasury operations across multiple countries and legal entities.
  • Experience designing, implementing, or managing foreign exchange exposure mitigation strategies, including hedging programs or other risk management mechanisms, preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to articulate analyses from the interpretation of financial reports and legal documents. Strong executive presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior executives and finance partners. Experience presenting complex materials in a concise manner to senior executives to drive effective decision-making.
  • Superior Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated intellectual and analytical thoroughness as well as experience resolving complex business problems with well-structured analytics.
  • Reasoning and Judgment Skills: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Team Skills: Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with demonstrated ability to articulate and drive towards desired outcomes. Must be able to lead across and through the matrix organization to ensure effective and efficient decision-making.
  • Business Partnering and Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success engaging senior leadership in effective decision-making, with strong project management skills and the ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Organization / Time Management Skills: Maintain an organized approach to managing daily activities; able to juggle multiple demands to achieve optimal efficiency and productivity while ensuring business deadlines and requirements are met.
  • Systems skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and Oracle; experience with treasury management systems, banking platforms, and reporting or forecasting tools preferred.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential variable compensation programs.
