As we continue to expand our presence, we are looking for several Manager, Financing Solutions professionals to support our growing client base and strengthen our market leadership.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering financing expertise to a diverse portfolio of commercial clients while partnering closely with relationship managers to drive business growth. You will be responsible for underwriting and structuring complex credit solutions, managing risk, and supporting strategic client conversations across a broad range of industries within the Upper Mid-Market Commercial Banking segment. Key Responsibilities:


Credit Underwriting

  • Partner closely with Relationship Managers to deliver timely, high-quality credit underwriting for both new and existing borrowing clients.
  • Structure and assess financing solutions for mid-market and upper-market commercial clients while balancing growth opportunities and risk considerations.
  • Develop creative and comprehensive client solutions by collaborating with internal partners and subject matter experts across the organization.
  • Manage day-to-day credit and relationship support activities for a diversified commercial portfolio.

Risk Management

  • Apply strong risk assessment and mitigation practices, leveraging expertise in commercial lending and credit policy.
  • Evaluate financing opportunities and make prudent lending recommendations aligned with National Bankโ€™s risk appetite and governance standards.
  • Conduct ongoing portfolio monitoring, due diligence, and covenant compliance reviews to proactively identify and manage emerging risks.
  • Exercise sound judgment and decision-making to effectively balance client needs with responsible risk management.

Client Experience

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and proactive support.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for high-value commercial clients, contributing to client retention and satisfaction.
  • Identify client needs and connect them with relevant banking partners and specialists to deliver a full-service banking experience.

As part of the Commercial Banking team, you will report to the Senior Director and Team Lead. Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial banking, lending, or credit risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial lending, credit adjudication, risk management principles, and banking practices.
  • Proven experience in commercial credit underwriting across a broad range of industries.
  • Excellent analytical, relationship management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage complex financing structures and make sound credit decisions in a fast-paced environment.
