Job Summary

We are seeking a Research Associate Imaging  to join our Insourcing Solutions team, located in Cambridge, MA. 

As the Research Associate, you will be responsible for performing multi-modality imaging studies, especially performing preclinical imaging data acquisition, image data processing and analysis, may also work with other scientists for in vivo and ex vivo imaging experiments. 

Additional responsibilities include: 

  • Perform laboratory tasks in support of in vivo studies  
  • Preparation and administration of therapeutic agents through differing routes of administration (e.g. IP, IV, SC, or oral gavage).  
  • Weighing of animals prior to dosing with test substances   
  • Blood and tissue sample collection   
  • Accurate collection of customer data and input into customer database  
  • Read basic study protocols and extract pertinent information  
  • Work effectively and productively while maintaining integrity and confidentiality  
  • Ability to plan and organize studies effectively  
  • Record project data in accordance with SOPs and/or applicable regulations 
  • Perform data collection using. whole-body optical imaging, high-field MRI, micro-CT, mouse-PET, intravital confocal microscopy, and ultrasound micro-imaging systems as well as digital image analysis workstations. 
  • Performing preclinical imaging data acquisition, image data processing and analysis, may also work with other scientists for in vivo and ex vivo imaging experiments. 
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned. 
Job Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must have one of the following combinations of education and experience.  

  • B.S/B.A. degree in Biological Sciences or related field plus 0-6 months of experience in biopharmaceutical experiences.   
  • Associates degree in Animal Science or equivalent college level program plus 1 year experience in biopharmaceutical experiences.  
  • HS Diploma with two years' experience in biopharmaceutical experiences.  

The pay range for this position is $44 to $48 USD per hour.  Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
