Responsibilities:

  • Manage the annual financial and operational budget and the quarterly and monthly financial forecasts for the Sales and Marketing organizations
  • Partner with Sales leadership on revenue forecasting, pipeline coverage analysis, quota setting, and segment-level attainment tracking across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise
  • Build and maintain sales capacity planning models including ramp curves, attainment assumptions, headcount-to-quota ratios, and OTE/Quota benchmarks
  • Support the annual AOP process - from QBSR build-up to management plan and board plan - in partnership with Sales segment leaders and the CFO
  • Support Marketing Channel Managers with financials and key business metrics, including campaign-level ROI analysis, Marketing Channel funnel metrics, and allocation of expenses to calculate Channel level CAC Payback
  • Manage BDR / SDR headcount planning and evaluate performance and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain financial models to track and analyze investment priorities and evaluate potential alternatives and their impact on the company's overall performance
  • Perform actual vs. budget variance analysis and identify any risks or opportunities associated with reported financial data; provide monthly expense, capital, and headcount forecasts
  • Build executive and board-ready materials covering segment performance, GTM efficiency, and key SaaS metrics
  • Skilled in distilling complex data into a clear, concise presentation of insights and actionable recommendations for an executive audience
Requirements:

Skills, Experience and Attributes for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics from a reputed institute and/or CA/CMA/CS qualified/Semi Qualified
  • 7-10 years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, Banking, Consulting, or similar field, including 2+ years of Core FPA experience in the SaaS industry
  • Direct experience partnering with Sales leaders (VPs, Segment Heads) on quota, pipeline, and attainment - not just as a finance reporter, but as a thought partner
  • Marketing FP&A experience preferred - including CAC, channel ROI, and BDR/SDR efficiency analysis
  • Strong understanding of SaaS GTM metrics: ARR, ACV, Pipeline Coverage, Attainment %, OTE, Magic Number, Rule of 40
  • Proven success in understanding businesses and model-building; cross-functional collaboration to implement new processes
  • Strong analytical mindset with an attention to detail and the ability to identify and quickly resolve data issues / needs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Thrive in fast paced startup work environment and manage tight deadlines; Flexible and adaptable to change of priorities
  • Positive, can do attitude, keen to automate and optimize processes with AI
