Job description

Join Vanguard's Fund Analysis and Oversight team and play a critical role in supporting the accuracy, integrity, and daily operations of our investment products. As a Fund & Investment Operations Analyst, you'll solve operational challenges, improve processes, and partner across the business to help deliver exceptional outcomes for the clients we serve.
Responsibilities:
  • Serves as subject matter and technical expert, identifies and resolves complex fund and investment operational issues. Analyzes cash flow, transaction, and portfolio holdings data.
  • Leads process improvements efforts, completes comprehensive analysis, and recommends solutions.
  • Documents procedures across all fund and investment product types. Leverages fund and investment operational knowledge to aid in the production of gold copy data and enhance output.
  • Maintains communication with internal and external partners to resolve process and reconciliation issues. Oversees the research and implement complex process improvements.
  • Oversees daily operation, manages controls and verifies completion of processes.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements and proactively proposes solutions.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Two years' related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
  • Strong investment acumen and data analysis background.
  • Fund accounting exp. nice to have.
