Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.* Bachelorโ€™s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, public administration, project management or related field.* THREE (3) or more yearsโ€™ experience performing Federal internal audit and/or audit consulting, preferably supporting external Federal audits.**What Would Be Nice To Have:*** Experience with Yellow Book, GAO Green Book, OMB A-123, FMFIA, and FFMIA.* Preferred professional certifications include Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM โ€“ AGA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA โ€“ AICPA), Project Management Professional (PMP โ€“ PMI), and Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM โ€“ ASMC).* Strong analytical and problem solving skills; basic proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and quantitative reasoning; ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly; exposure to Python, SQL, or data visualization tools; internship or academic project experience in federal financial management or analytics; interest in automation (RPA), AI, or data engineering concepts; and familiarity with USSGL, GTAS, or federal accounting principles.The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00.
