Position Summary:
Adkins Financial Group is seeking Business Support Staff to support our growing operations. A truly effective Business Support Staff should be self-regulating, possess both reliability and consistency, be able to learn and problem solve well, and have strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with various advisors.

  • Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person with prospects and clients.

  • Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support including but not limited to mailing, scanning, faxing, and copying.

  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system.

  • Manage and scheduling calendar for Advisors.

  • Answer calls from potential clients regarding inquiries.

  • Prepare and modify documents including but not limited to applications, reports, spreadsheets, and emails.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements.

  • Review applications for completeness. Obtain additional information if necessary.

  • Attend and assist with client events and workshops.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in insurance, financial services, or brokerage operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with life insurance, annuities, and/or wealth management products strongly preferred.
  • Life and Health License at a minimum, preferred fully licensed (S6/S7, L&H, S65/S66)
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM or case management systems preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially in Excel.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to organize and present data.
