The Opportunity

As a Senior Commercial Credit Analyst, youโ€™ll evaluate the risk of extending credit by reviewing borrower and guarantor financial information and turning your analysis into clear recommendations for lending decisions. Youโ€™ll take ownership of the bankโ€™s most complex credit relationships while serving as a go-to resource for the analyst team.
Key responsibilities include spreading and analyzing financial statements and tax returns; completing global cash flow and collateral analysis; preparing independent credit memos and loan presentations; completing annual relationship/loan reviews; partnering with lenders to gather and clarify financial details; and reinforcing credit policies while offering feedback on department direction.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 4โ€“5 years of commercial credit analyst experience in a banking environment
- Strong credit risk assessment, financial statement analysis, and memo/presentation writing skills
- Knowledge of banking accounting rules, regulations, and policies
- Advanced Excel/Microsoft Office skills
- Clear communication and mentoring/leadership ability
If youโ€™re ready to make sound, well-supported credit decisions, apply today.

A Typical Day

Your day is anchored in focused analysis and timely collaboration. Youโ€™ll start by prioritizing a pipeline of higher-complexity relationships, then move between deep review work and quick touchpoints with lenders to confirm assumptions, clarify documentation, and align on next steps. Expect time blocked for building clean, decision-ready narrativesโ€”translating numbers into concise conclusionsโ€”and for keeping annual reviews moving forward. As questions come in, youโ€™ll pause to coach newer analysts, helping them think through structure, cash flow, and risk. Youโ€™ll wrap up by checking progress against deadlines, noting any policy considerations, and preparing whatโ€™s needed for upcoming committee or approval conversations.
