Overview

Signalink is seeking a Project Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and execution across a portfolio of DoD programs. This role works closely with multiple disciplines to ensure projects are properly planned, tracked, forecasted, and reported throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience supporting government contracts in a contractor environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Track project budget versus actual costs across labor, ODCs, travel, and subcontractors
  • Develop and maintain project spend plans, forecasts, and associated templates
  • Support monthly program reviews and financial reporting activities
  • Prepare and support monthly customer cost reporting as required
  • Perform labor forecasting and support resource planning efforts
  • Support project setup, tracking, and reporting activities within Unanet
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc financial reports, variance analyses, and status updates
  • Coordinate with various teams to maintain accurate project financial data
  • Support process improvements related to forecasting, reporting, and project controls

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience supporting government contracts in a contractor environment
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, spend plans, and variance analysis
  • Familiarity with CPFF, FFP, and T&M contract types
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one

Preferred Experience and Knowledge

  • Experience supporting DoD, Army, aviation, or aerospace programs
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and government cost reporting practices
  • Hands-on experience with Unanet
