Overview

**This is an onsite role located in Brentwood, TN.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Financial Reporting Analyst is a role designed to collaborate across accounting, decision support, and finance teams. This position will support all hospital-based service lines across the enterprise, ensuring financial performance monitoring, reporting accuracy, and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Assists in the preparation of budgets for hospital-based service lines in coordination with market finance and accounting teams.
  • Monitors financial performance of facility contracts for internal Monthly Operating Review (MOR) reporting.
  • Evaluates financial performance of current vendor partners against budget and prior-period trends, analyzing variances.
  • Develops and maintain dashboards for on-call and medical directorship expenditures.
  • Collaborates with internal decision support teams to create analytical data packages supporting RFP data needs across service lines.
  • Builds and maintains KPI dashboards for hospital-based service lines.
  • Works with decision support and clinical IS teams to generate ad hoc reports aiding in operational staffing and site-of-service decision-making.
  • Supports internal executives on confidential due diligence to assess financial considerations related to new hospital-based service line ventures.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in hospital accounting, decision support, or finance.
  • Master's degree, preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Familiarity with hospital-based physician service lines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and analytical functions, preferred.
  • Familiarity with EPIC Cogito, Power BI, or similar Business Intelligence (BI) platforms, preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams, preferred.
