If you are a Financial Controller, Chief Financial Officer/CFO, Vice President of Accounting, Director of Finance, or Director of Accounting with inpatient substance use disorder- SUD experience, then you need to read onโ€ฆ

Our client is a well-established in-patient Behavioral Health / SUD organization with a current opening for a Financial Controller based in the Boston, MA area. In-patient behavioral health or Hospital experience required. CPA and masterโ€™s prepared preferred. Relocation candidates welcome to apply!

Financial Controller โ€“ SUD/Behavioral Health Opportunity Job Requirements
  • Experience in healthcare finance leadership within a hospital, behavioral health, or SUD organization.
  • Strong hospital budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement management experience.
  • Hands-on experience preparing or overseeing Medicare cost reporting.
  • CPA and/or Master's degree preferred; equivalent SUD or behavioral health financial leadership experience will be considered.
Financial Controller โ€“ SUD/Behavioral Health Job Responsibilities
  • Lead monthly financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and annual audit activities.
  • Prepare and oversee annual Medicare cost reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage cash flow, financial performance analysis, and turnaround initiatives to improve profitability.
  • Oversee the billing department and revenue cycle operations while building and developing the finance team.
