Overview
Direct Counsel is seeking a Corporate Finance Associate to join a leading law firm in Dallas. This role offers hands-on experience working on complex financing transactions with lenders, borrowers, and private equity clients.


Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate credit agreements, term sheets, and financing documents
  • Work on syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, and private credit deals
  • Support deal execution, closings, and transaction management
  • Collaborate with clients, including lenders, sponsors, and portfolio companies

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of corporate finance experience
  • Experience with credit facilities and financing transactions
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
