Job description

Entry-level position where the candidate will gain the foundational skills needed in employee benefits and insurance to advance client strategies and fulfill objectives of the Financial Team & Employee Benefits Department.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contributes to a wide variety of projects involving design, financing, delivery, ongoing management and communication of health and group benefit programs for Employee Benefits clients.
  • Coordinates reporting workflow, project management, & project communication.
  • Completes basic monthly financial reporting, mostly independently and more complex deliverables and projects with oversight.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Study in business, risk management, math, or relevant work experience preferred
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, xlookup, etc.) required. Experience with macros preferred but not required.
  • Power BI (or similar) data visualization experience preferred.
  • Effective communication skills in both verbal and written form.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills required.
  • Ability to efficiently handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks and projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • Team player who takes initiative, demonstrates resourcefulness and is self-motivated to continuous learning and development.
