Location: Buffalo, Rochester, or Albany, NY
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and driven Finance Associate with 2 to 6 years of experience in commercial finance transactions to join our growing team in Buffalo, Rochester, or Albany. This role will involve representing borrowers and lenders in complex middle-market financing deals, as well as advising clients across a range of lending and leasing matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent clients, including borrowers and lenders, in complex commercial finance transactions.

  • Provide counsel on secured transactions under the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC).

  • Advise on term loans, letters of credit, and acquisition financing.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate documentation for equipment leasing and financing agreements.

  • Facilitate and manage cross-border lending transactions involving both secured and unsecured credit facilities.

  • Collaborate with other practice areas to deliver comprehensive, strategic legal solutions.

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

  • 2 6 years of legal experience in commercial finance or related practice.

  • Strong academic credentials.

  • Excellent written, analytical, and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex transactions and deadlines.

  • Demonstrated collaborative approach and business-oriented mindset.
