Join Unity and be a Senior Financial Analyst part of the FP&A team that supports the leading global game engine used by 3 billion people globally! As a Senior Financial Analyst at a multi-billion-dollar public company based in our Union Square offices in New York City, you will play a pivotal role in helping our business model evolve from a SaaS model to an AI token-based, advertising-supported model, and be at the forefront of this evolution. You will partner closely with all levels, cross-functionally across Finance, and Accounting, and business division leaders to engage in financial planning, strategic analysis, reporting, and operational improvement, informing and influencing decisions that will impact the P&L. What you'll be doing
  • Lead the monthly consolidated close process, quarterly forecast, and annual planning to ensure investment and resource allocations are aligned with Unity's strategic priorities
  • Work closely with business units and functional teams to establish investment plans for both the near and long-term
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure accurate weekly and monthly reporting on financial metrics and Key Performance Indicators
  • Help prepare materials and narratives for internal Executive meetings, Board of Directors meetings, and earnings calls
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and financial analysis to support senior management and strategic business decisions.
  • Lead system and process improvement initiatives to support our growth and drive efficiencies that help us scale and automate FP&A processes

What we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field from a top academic institution
  • At least two (2) years of work experience, preferably in Strategy Consulting or Investment banking
  • Keen interest in technology and software including Generative AI, gaming and interactive 3D, and advertising technology
  • Orientation towards eliminating spreadsheets and slideware through the use of AI tools, including Claude in Excel, Office Connect; Demonstrated willingness to adopt AI-powered tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, and analytical depth. Experience using AI assistants, copilots, or automation tools in a professional context is a plus.
  • Expert-level ability to parse large data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within a global technology stack. Strong financial analysis, forecasting, modeling, and planning skills with an ability to turn data into meaningful insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the "executive presence" required to influence senior leaders and stakeholders across diverse functional areas.
  • Ability to distill complex analyses into insights that drive action

Base salary range: $84,200-$160,100 USD gross
This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors, including geographic location and the candidate's relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
