Summary

GCM Grosvenor is seeking an Associate to join its growing Direct Infrastructure Investments team in New York.

The team invests directly in middle-market infrastructure businesses and projects across North America, partnering with management teams to build high-quality essential infrastructure companies. Associates receive broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle - origination, value creation, and harvesting - working alongside a collaborative team with significant responsibility from day one.

The Direct Infrastructure strategy recently closed its second flagship fund and continues to experience strong fundraising momentum, positioning the platform for continued growth.

Investment Focus

The team invests across a diversified infrastructure mandate, including:

 Responsibilities

  • Evaluate new investment opportunities through detailed financial analysis, commercial diligence, and industry research
  • Build and maintain complex financial models, including operating models, valuation analyses, LBO models, and return scenarios
  • Support all aspects of transaction execution, including due diligence, financing, negotiations, and documentation
  • Conduct market research and develop investment theses across infrastructure subsectors
  • Monitor portfolio company performance and support value creation initiatives
  • Prepare investment committee materials and presentations for senior investment professionals

 

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure investing, or a related investment role
