Job Description
Join a cross-functional team that helps keep GM's global and regional SAP Procure-to-Pay processes running effectively-and continuously improving. In this role, you'll partner with end users, IT functional and development teams, business process owners, and transformation teams to support and enhance critical Purchasing and Accounts Payable capabilities, with a primary focus on eSAP (ECC), Ariba and FinanceCore (S/4 Hana).
This is an opportunity to combine SAP expertise, business process knowledge, and strong relationship-building skills to solve complex problems, improve how work gets done, and help shape future-state solutions. You'll have meaningful impact across the organization, requiring initiative, sound judgment, proactive follow-through, strong communication, and excellent organization.
What you'll do
  • Provide end-user support for escalated and technical issues, coordinating with business users, Conduent teams, and IT resources to drive issues through resolution.
  • Apply a deep technical understanding of SAP and its integrations with other GM systems and business areas.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on current system functionality and support transformation initiatives by anticipating project risks, identifying corrective actions and resources, and escalating issues when needed.
  • Manage and prioritize system enhancement requests while balancing business needs with a limited pool of IT resources through influence and indirect leadership.
  • Partner with the business to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, engaging presentations to senior leadership.
  • Build strong partnerships across business and technology teams to align priorities and deliver practical solutions.

What you'll bring (Required)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least five years of business experience.
  • Five or more years of SAP experience.
  • Preferred experience with SAP FI/CO, Ariba, Procure-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, and MM.
  • Understanding of basic data flows and relational databases.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
  • A demonstrated focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and operate effectively in a complex environment.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership, follows through, and exercises sound independent judgment.
  • Ability to build networks and collaborate effectively across functions.

Location: Hybrid. This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the - Global HQ Warren MI three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business]
