The Gogo Financial Analyst is responsible for financial modeling and forecasting in a fast-growing technology company. This position will be a key contributor to the FP&A function at Gogo.

The Financial Analyst focuses on developing revenue forecast/budget and long-term plan, including key revenue metrics, supporting quarterly earnings calls and MD&A analysis, formulating analysis of financial and operational data to support effective decision-making and large company wide initiatives.

How will you make a difference?

  • Support and maintain detailed revenue forecast, budget, and long-range plans across all revenue streams

  • Contribute to revenue-related reporting for quarterly earnings call, MD&A and related analysis

  • Analyze actual revenue performance versus forecast and budget, identifying key trends, variances, and drivers

  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Product teams to understand drivers for forecast and budget

  • Monitor key performance indicators and maintain dashboards for tracking business performance

  • Enhance and improve financial planning models for both short-term as well as multi-year forecast

  • Become a power user of the Hyperion planning system and SmartView add-in to facilitate efficient reporting and planning process

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field

  • 2-4 years of experience in Financial Analysis or related field

Required Skills, Talents & Experience

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required including complex formulas, pivot tables and charts

  • Ability to employ complex analytical tools and statistics to perform analysis and forecasting of financial and other business information

  • Business modeling skills, capable of translating business logic to modeling logic to bring insights to the senior management team and support the business teams as needed

  • Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills with well-developed presentation skills.

Equal Pay Disclosure(s)

Base Pay:

64,000.00 - 80,000.00 USD Annual

Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:

Bonus Plan at 5% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
