Job description

Location - Thisis a hybrid role, which means that you will have the flexibility to work bothonsite and at a distance. You will collaborate onsite at our La Farge, WI office for 4-8 days per month, and therest of the time you can choose to work remotely or onsite.  
Employee Type - Hourly
Bonus - This position is eligible for a 3% annual incentive bonus based on cooperative and individual performance.
Safety Sensitive - No
Summary of Role
The Inventory Associate is responsible for accurate and timely tracking of inventory between locations, weekly/bi-weekly reconciliation of inventories, and the month-end reconciliation to physical counts for assigned locations to provide accurate reporting on the co-op's balance sheet each month.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory Reconciliation & Accuracy - 50% of time
Reconcile weekly inventories to physical counts across all locations and product categories.
Maintain inventory records on a current basis to ensure accurate information is available to business partners.
Coordinate and audit daily inventory transactions related to product movement across internal and external locations.
Support accurate inventory reporting through timely identification and resolution of discrepancies.
Inventory Operations & Cross-Functional Coordination - 30% of time
Coordinate and communicate with Production, Quality Assurance, Warehousing, Marketing, and outside facilities to ensure accurate inventory transactions.
Partner with Accounts Receivable and Customer Experience to confirm customer orders, support invoicing, verify documentation, and ensure proper inventory movement.
Process and monitor inventory-related transactions to maintain inventory integrity and operational accuracy.
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support efficient inventory management processes.
Process Support & Transaction Management - 20% of time
Support inventory control processes and adherence to established procedures.
Assist with inventory-related transaction processing and issue resolution.
Contribute to accurate inventory reporting and data maintenance.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to inventory processes and controls.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

Participate in the financial reporting process.
Process inbound and outbound Cashton DC error messages and investigate transaction failures.
Participate in inventory counts at warehouse and production facilities.
Coordinate with Accounts Payable to ensure invoice accuracy.
Assist with the development and review of inventory-related processes and procedures.
Maintain inventory documentation and filing systems.
Participate in special projects as assigned.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
Minimum of a two-year degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field - with major course work or experience in accounting preferred.
Problem solving skills and the ability to analyze complex transactions required.
Demonstrated knowledge in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word) and accounting software required.
Good written and verbal communication skills required.
Must be well organized, detail oriented, and accurate. 
Must be a self-starter and have a strong work ethic.
Limited travel to other cooperative sites or training may be required. 
Ability to work all shifts and weekend hours when required.
Base hourly wage range: 19.43 - 23.55 per hour
This hourly wage rangeis exclusive of fringe benefits. The compensation package may also includeincentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses. Ifyou are hired at CROPP, your final base hourly wage compensation will be determinedbased on factors such as skills, education, and/orexperience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity andconsider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any finaloffer. Please keep in mind that entry-level candidates to this role shouldexpect to be at the lower end of the hourly wage range and hiring at the maximum of the hourly wage rangeis not typical.
