Job Information

As a Supply Chain Analyst you will support the business objectives by managing supply chain activities, including material planning, purchase order management, logistics management, and supplier relationships. Analyze, plan, schedule, and order materials on time while managing specific inventory levels to maximize operational efficiency and working capital to achieve business objectives. Engage in purchase order management through the entire procure to pay cycle. Evaluate, select, and recommend preferred logistical methods to achieve business objectives. Maintain supplier relationships to facilitate partnerships with suppliers to achieve our annual operating plan. Manage various supply chain activities to enhance quality, cost effectiveness and maximize operating income.

Role & Responsibility

Material Planning

  • Utilize various tools to analyze, recommend and execute inventory optimization based on a forecast, customer requirements, and/or business direction.
  • Collaborate with management and other key decision-makers from various functional areas to ensure an uninterrupted material supply to our factories, dealers, and customers.
  • Support management of inter-plant stock requests and order adjustments.
  • Maintain safety stock levels to optimize the build and financial objectives.
  • Schedule and implement part change notices while minimizing obsolescence.
  • Communicate supply chain concerns with stakeholders on recommended build plan and/or customer requirements.
  • Analyze system parameters to mitigate demand variances.

Purchase Order Management

  • Process purchase orders, confirm delivery, monitor deliveries, and expedite to ensure optimum customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve discrepancies and/or issues as they occur during the procure to pay cycle, analyze root cause, and determine corrective action. Resolve invoice discrepancies on time.

Logistical Management

  • Partner with logistics and other stakeholders to determine the most cost-effective inventory transport to meet business objectives.
  • Solicit freight options and quotes to recommend the most desirable freight decision to maintain build and customer expectations.
  • Act as a liaison between Bobcat and our suppliers.
  • Facilitate supplier interactions and escalations processes to meet the business needs.
  • Effectively manage supplier performance by assisting in supply chain disruptions (quality, logistics, etc.).
  • Cultivate and maintain supplier relationships with collaborative communication.
  • Provide customer support for supplier relationship systems.
Job Requirement
  • Education Required: Equivalent experience in supply chain management in lieu of degree accepted. Bachelorโ€™s Degree in supply chain management highly preferred.
  • Experience Required: 0 >10 years
  • Travel Required: <10%
  • MRP supply planning experience in SAP highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability with data analysis, and high degree of fluency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail Oriented.
