Job description

Location: Millersburg Ohio. This position requires the associate to be onsite full time.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position.


Position Summary

The Financial Analyst provides analytical support to the finance team by evaluating financial data, preparing reports, and delivering insights that guide operational and strategic decision‑making. This role supports budgeting, forecasting, payroll accuracy, KPI tracking, and financial model maintenance. The analyst collaborates with cross‑functional partners to ensure data integrity, compliance, and consistent financial performance across the organization. This person will be responsible for checks and balances, back up to payroll and payroll processing.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process and review biweekly payroll, and salary payroll including regular pay, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and adjustments.

  • Maintain accurate employee payroll and timekeeping records.

  • Process new hires, terminations, salary changes, direct deposits, deductions, and other payroll changes.

  • Financial Reporting – Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and performance summaries.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting – Support annual and periodic budgeting cycles through data collection, model updates, and scenario analysis.

  • Data Analysis – Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.

  • Model Development – Maintain and enhance financial models used for planning, valuation, and decision support.

  • KPI Reporting – Prepare and maintain KPI reports, track performance metrics, and deliver insights to leadership.

  • Cross-Functional Support – Partner with internal teams to gather data, validate assumptions and support financial initiatives.

  • Compliance & Controls - Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

  • Extensive prior experience with payroll systems, Paycor a plus

  • Foundational experience through internships, projects, or entry‑level finance roles

  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas) basic financial modeling, and data analysis tools

  • Strong analytical, organization, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Experience with ERP systems, payroll platforms, or financial software

  • Exposure to KPI dashboards or visualizing tools

  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
