Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Asset Management Analyst will play a key role in supporting the firm's strategic objectives by assisting in the management and optimization of a portfolio of industrial assets. This position is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in real estate investment and asset management, offering hands-on exposure to financial analysis, market research, and portfolio reporting.

The Analyst will work closely with team members across Asset Management, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Property Management, contributing to the performance and value creation of the firm's industrial real estate holdings.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the day-to-day oversight of a regional portfolio of industrial assets, including coordination with third-party property managers.
  • Support the development and tracking of property-level business plans and financial performance metrics.
  • Help build and maintain financial models to evaluate asset performance, leasing scenarios, and capital expenditures.
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages for internal stakeholders and investors.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support asset strategy and decision-making.
  • Assist in quarterly asset valuations and portfolio reviews.
  • Abstract leases and summarize key terms, responsibilities, and financial implications.
  • Collaborate with Accounting to review operating expense reconciliations and ensure timely invoice processing.
  • Help track and organize property inspections, budgets, and third-party reporting requirements.
ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in real estate or investment analysis (internships or academic projects welcome).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Argus or similar tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
COMPENSATION

This role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, plus bonus, reflecting the company's good faith estimate based on market data and internal equity.
