Financial Accounting Analyst Senior

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Financial Accounting Analyst Senior is responsible for providing technical leadership and setting strategic direction of projects.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Manages close processes, related analysis and reporting.
  • May lead teams of associates. Reviews and approves journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Prepares and reviews monthly and quarterly financial reports and complex analysis.
  • Designs research plans for data gathering and analysis and manages projects to deadlines.
  • Responsible for initiation and resolution of complex accounting problems requiring technical expertise.
  • Mentors, trains, and coaches lower-level accountants.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, or related field and a minimum of 5 years' experience in general accounting, finance or budgeting and planning in a large for profit organization; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
