Bookkeeper / Office Assistant

Mint Condition of Raleigh-Durham is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Bookkeeper / Office Assistant to join our growing team. We are a technology-forward commercial cleaning company using technology and AI to transform the service industry. This position also offers opportunities for professional growth and the ability to learn other areas of the business, including sales, operations, and management.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, staying organized, and taking ownership of their work. You’ll play an important role in keeping our day-to-day administrative and bookkeeping functions running smoothly while working closely with the owner and team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic bookkeeping and maintain accurate, well-organized financial records.
  • Assist with accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), invoicing, and account reconciliation.
  • Maintain books and records in an accurate and organized manner to support year-end tax preparation.
  • Assist with daily office operations and administrative tasks.
  • Manage emails, phone calls, correspondence, and customer inquiries.
  • Provide professional and friendly customer service.
  • Follow established company workflows, procedures, and task systems.
  • Assist the owner with administrative projects and various business-related tasks.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and other administrative activities.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records.
  • Run occasional errands for the office as needed.
  • Use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other basic technology tools.
  • Learn and utilize new bookkeeping, administrative, and technology tools.
  • Support other areas of the business as needed.
