SIM has recently begun marketing its investment management services to third-party institutional investors.**About the role**The Associate Quantitative Modeler and Developer will be a software engineering role for the development, deployment, and maintenance of a variety of applications, models, and algorithms to be used across the derivatives front office. The individual will support efforts in financial engineering, investment decision-making, quantitative analytics, and operational streamlining.**What you will do*** Architect, test, implement and maintain applications, trading algorithms, and production processes and systems. Support development of a variety of internal UIs, APIs, and tools for desktop and AWS deployment aimed at improving the trading and investment process. Utilize data visualization toolsets, such as Power BI, to create key trading and portfolio management analytics.* Assist in the development of quantitative pricing models and risk modules implementing best practices in quantitative finance and risk management. Help develop risk analytics methodologies supporting hedging strategy and new product initiatives.**Who You Are*** S. degree in computer science, mathematics or engineering.* 2-5 years of experience required in: application development in a high-level language: Python, C#, VBA; database management with Microsoft SQL server, MySQL, PostreSQL, or similar DBMS; deployment of applications to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
