Dealership Accounting Administrator- Automotive

Full-Time | Gastonia Location-28056 and  Charlotte Northlake Location-28216

Mills Automotive is seeking a highly organized and motivated Accounting Administrator to join our growing team at our Gastonia and Northlake location. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a long-term career within the automotive industry.

As part of a dynamic dealership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting operations while supporting our sales and finance departments.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates strong administrative abilities, solid accounting knowledge, and a collaborative team mindset. Experience with automotive dealership accounting systems such as CDK is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Post new and used vehicle sales and verify the accuracy of all required paperwork

  • Issue trade payoffs via check or electronic transfer

  • Submit F&I product payables in a timely manner

  • Process F&I product cancellations

  • Process Daily Deposit
  • Manage deal receivables, rebates, and inventory schedules

  • Respond to inquiries from sales management and dealership departments

  • Perform routine accounting tasks and reconciliations

  • Maintain knowledge of automotive title processes

  • Assist with other administrative and accounting duties as needed


Qualifications
  • Previous accounting experience required (automotive dealership experience highly preferred)

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including credits and debits

  • Experience with CDK dealership management systems is a plus

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
