Job description

Our Finance Development Program is dedicated to securing top emerging talent like you! In this 18-month rotational program, you'll experience two 9-month long assignments across key financial areas of AT&T to broaden your knowledge of the company and learn new skills and competencies along the way. You'll experience numerous career development opportunities including exposure to leaders within AT&T, frequent feedback, small group interaction, and various mentorship opportunities.
What you'll do:
  • Analyze and interpret financials and other relevant data; scope includes budget management, cost benefit analysis, financial forecasting, and expense management
  • Partner with various business teams to evaluate how to best leverage analytics and reporting to meet evolving requirements and information needs
  • Drive, develop and maintain numerous project deliverables that support the organization
  • Work on issues of diverse scope including analysis of market trends and financial data to recommend data driven solutions
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
  • Increase productivity by identifying and developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
  • Provide input on recommendations to achieve financial objectives
  • Cost evaluation and pricing of new products, services, and contract proposals
  • Conduct market research to support internal financial analysis

What you'll need:
  • Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program focusing on finance, or other specialized related degrees
  • Estimated graduation by June 2027
  • Ability to meet the full-time, in-office requirement in Dallas throughout the duration of the program
  • 0-3+ years of proven work experience in Finance/Business related setting (internships, cohorts, etc)
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills & experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PPT, Excel, etc)

Our Finance Development Program colleagues earn an annual salary between $65,400 - $98,200, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting pay within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
