Location

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Phoenix, Arizona; or Minneapolis, Minnesota โ€” Hybrid schedule with three days per week in the office, supporting collaboration and flexibility.

This role requires an active bar license in the office location selected and a minimum of 3 years of directly relevant commercial finance transactional experience.

Job Description

  • Represent institutional lenders and borrowers in complex commercial finance transactions
  • Draft, negotiate, and close syndicated and portfolio financing deals
  • Advise on secured transactions with a strong focus on UCC Article 9
  • Analyze bankruptcy considerations across all phases of finance transactions
  • Collaborate with colleagues on workouts, restructurings, and cross-practice matters as needed

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of commercial finance or secured transactions experience
  • Strong working knowledge of UCC Article 9 and bankruptcy code
  • Transactional experience with syndicated or portfolio finance deals
  • Excellent academic credentials with strong writing and analytical skills
  • Active bar license in PA, AZ, or MN depending on office location
  • Experience with workouts, restructuring, M&A, or private equity is a plus
