This role presents a significant opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the continued growth and development of the revenue reporting and analysis function at Bessemer Trust. This function is responsible for measuring, analyzing, reporting and communicating clear insights on key organic fee revenue drivers, including net asset flows, fee revenue implications, and client trends.

The ideal candidate will bring strong financial modeling, analytical and communication skills, with a focus on net asset flows, fee revenue, client relationships, and related revenue metrics. Responsibilities will also include supporting annual and long-term financial planning, preparing board and executive-level materials, and delivering insightful reporting and analysis to senior leadership on organic growth.

In this position, the Associate will provide critical insights into organic growth trends, develop and maintain financial reports and models, support strategic planning processes, and contribute to high-quality materials for board presentations and executive leadership reviews.

Net New Business & Growth Analytics

  • Track, analyze, and report on net new asset flows, net new clients, and related revenue metrics across multiple dimensions (advisor, office/location, asset class, client size, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain ad hoc and recurring reports to monitor organic growth versus targets.
  • Analyze pipeline activity, conversion rates, client trends, and net asset flows to identify drivers of growth and areas of opportunity.

Strategic & Financial Support

  • Assist in building business cases and analytical frameworks for growth initiatives, such as advisor hiring, market expansion, or product offerings.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support senior management, relationship managers, and business leaders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with client relationship managers (Client Advisors) and business development officers (Wealth Advisors), senior leadership and the broader Finance organization to ensure consistent data, definitions, and reporting.
  • Support preparation of materials for management meetings, leadership reviews, and board-level reporting.
  • Help improve processes, data quality, and reporting efficiency related to net new business tracking and analytics.

Data & Process Improvement

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of net new business data across systems.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting, enhance analytical tools, and streamline workflows.
  • Contribute to documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, with concentrations in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred experience in financial planning and analysis, fee analysis, and/or assets & flows analysis at a financial institution, private equity/venture capital firm, private bank or family office.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial planning software is preferred (e.g., Oracle, OneStream, Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP, or similar).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including extensive experience with financial modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and VBA.
  • Experience developing or modifying PL/SQL queries preferred
  • Experience with 5-year financial planning or long-term financial forecasting is a plus.
  • Experience with dashboarding/visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau) is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, key initiatives and deadlines with excellent attention to detail.
  • Intellectual curiosity and interest in wealth management, private banking, client growth, and business strategy.
