Top 100 AmLaw firm seeks an associate to join its Finance Practice Group in their Chicago office.


Qualified candidates must have 3-5 years of solid and meaningful experience in the areas of acquisition financing, agented syndicated secured financings and Article 9 of the UCC. Background/experience in inter-creditor and subordination agreements; real estate finance a plus. Candidates should have strong drafting and negotiating skills and a desire for client contact and doing deals. A strong academic background is required as well as meaningful law firm experience on sophisticated transactional matters. Large law firm or commercial finance boutique experience preferred. The successful candidate would be joining a team of diverse individuals who enjoy working in a high-performance environment rooted in a culture of mutual respect and teamwork. Admission to Illinois Bar or the ability to waive in is preferred.
