Job description

The Consortium is hiring for a Part Time Program Financial Administrator at Salasin Project 20 hours/week located in Greenfield, MA starting at $26-$28/hr (plus language stipend if applicable)


They will partner with Administrative Manager & Program Director to meet monthly and quarterly billing obligations while maintaining and reconciling advanced spreadsheets to ensure accuracy.


Salasin Project supports individuals and families that have experienced domestic and sexual violence. We welcome applicants with lived experience of sexual and domestic violence; receiving basic needs assistance, and/or interacting with child protective services and people who identify as being in recovery from a history of substance use.


The position reports to the Program Director and Administrative Manager.

Responsibilities:

· Ability to partner with Administrative Manager to meet financial reporting and billing goals.

· Updating and maintaining complex financial spreadsheets with daily transactions, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

· Creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced Excel spreadsheets utilizing formulas, pivot tables, and other data tools.

· Providing administrative and analytical support during budget preparation and review cycles.

· Supporting monthly contract billing processes with a high level of accuracy and attention to financial details.

· Compiling, reviewing, and verifying program fiscal data for reporting and analysis.

· Entering data accurately and efficiently to support monthly and quarterly contract billing and internal reporting.

· Reconciling General Ledger and Cost Center reports with financial spreadsheets

· Demonstrated commitment to the values and social justice goals of the Salasin Project and the Western MA Training Consortium


Requirements:

· Minimum of one year of experience in a Finance Associate or related financial support role.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and spreadsheet management).

· Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines while maintaining clear communication with the team.

· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in reviewing financial transactions and reports.

· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to flex in order to meet changing priorities.

· Skilled in Microsoft 365, including Teams and Word.

· Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to maintain professional boundaries and discretion.
