The position requires candidates to be U.S. persons as defined in ITAR, 22CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status)
The Final Quality Control Inspector is responsible for monitoring all processes involved in the production of Fiber Optic Components and Fiber Optic Cable Assemblies. The Inspector has to ensure that quality standards are met at every step of the process involved in Fiber Optic Cable Assembly Manufacturing.
Essential Functions:
  • Inspects and verifies fiber optic cable assemblies using visual and Standard Measurement Instruments (Calipers, Scales, Rulers, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret customer and internal drawings.
  • Ability to read and interpret Sales Orders and Customer contracts.
  • Verifies production meets specifications and contractual requirements.
  • Ability to verify IL (Insertion Loss) Test reports.
  • Inspects in-process production by verifying conformance of production to drawings and work instructions.
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications, customer, and internal requirements.
  • Approves reworks as documented on a Trouble Sheet and or a Nonconformance Material Report (NCMR).
  • Document inspection results by creating a Certificate of Conformance (C of C) after all requirements are met.
  • Ability to identify and document non-conformances, as required
