QC Inspector – Minitabs

Reports To: Production Supervisor
Schedule: 40 hours/week + overtime as needed | Must be flexible to work various shifts


Position Summary

The QC Inspector – Minitab is responsible for hands-on product inspection, accurate measurement, and detailed data recording to ensure all products meet established quality and food safety standards.

This role requires individuals with direct quality control experience in a manufacturing environment who are comfortable working with measurements, maintaining accuracy, and using computer systems to document results.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in-process and finished product inspections on the production floor
  • Take accurate measurements (weights, dimensions, temperatures, etc.) and record results precisely
  • Enter quality data into Minitab and other systems with a high level of accuracy
  • Maintain strong attention to detail when reviewing product and recording data
  • Identify and report any product defects or deviations to the line operator and QA immediately
  • Follow all GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with plant standards
  • Discard non-conforming product according to procedures
  • Communicate effectively with production teams regarding quality issues

Required Qualifications
  • Previous QC/inspection experience in a manufacturing environment is required (food manufacturing strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to take precise measurements and record data accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in inspection work
  • Basic computer skills required (data entry, navigating systems such as Minitab or similar tools)
