Job Description:

  • We are a leading provider of low-voltage services, specializing in the design and implementation of nurse call, fire alarm, security, and audio-video systems.

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Low Voltage Quality Control Specialist to ensure the highest standards of workmanship, customer satisfaction, and technician development across our low voltage projects.

  • This role involves regularly visiting job sites, assessing installation quality, engaging with customers, and identifying training needs among technicians.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Conduct regular site visits to evaluate the quality and accuracy of low voltage system installations.

  • Verify compliance with company standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes.

  • Provide on-site coaching and guidance to technicians to improve quality and efficiency.

  • Engage with customers during and after installation to assess satisfaction and address concerns.

  • Document findings and generate reports on installation quality and customer feedback.

  • Identify gaps in technician knowledge or skillsets and develop targeted training plans.

  • Collaborate with operations, service, and training teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Stay up to date with industry standards, technologies, and best practices.

Job Qualifications:-

  • Minimum 2-5 years of technical field experience in the low voltage electrical industry, preferably with hands-on experience in fire alarm, access control, video surveillance, nurse call, and/or audio video systems.

  • 2 years' experience in technician training or field supervision.

  • Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and best practices.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact effectively with technicians and customers.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple site visits and assessments.

  • Proficient in using inspection and reporting tools (e.g., tablets, mobile apps, digital forms).

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
