JOB OVERVIEW

The Quality Specialist plays an integral role in ensuring that an organization's products or services meet the highest standards of quality. They are responsible for assisting with developing and implementing quality control procedures and processes, conducting audits and inspections, analyzing data, and providing solutions to improve quality and efficiency.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to)

  • Ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed.
  • Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
  • Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports.
  • Make recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in creating training materials and operating manuals.
  • Provide expertise in all aspects of QA: calibration, incoming materials, document control, QC.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist, or similar role.
  • Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance.
  • Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards as applicable.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Quality Assurance Specialist.
  • CWI certification highly desired.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external departments.
  • Strong analytical skills, along with a keen sense of attention to detail.
  • Excellent blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
