Responsibilities:
1. Testing of materials in accordance with internal specification and ISO procedure requirements.
2. Obtaining necessary samples from the dry end of the rotoformer to support required testing of materials manufactured on the rotoformer.
3. Identification of, segregation of, and descriptions for nonconforming material produced on the rotoformer.
4. Timely communication to the operations team of out-of-specification materials during production of materials on rotoformer.
5. Additional testing of materials as required during the converting process due to quality requirements or analysis needs.
6. Testing of laminated materials and all other materials that have been transferred to manufacturing.
7. Testing of sample requests as required.
8. Support of hand sheet collection for marketing use.
9. Verification of test equipment accuracy and performance using daily checks and standards, historical comparisons, etc.
10. Organization and archival of test data, retains, and all other documentation, samples, etc. as required.
11. Maintaining and improving the organization and cleanliness of the quality control lab and other quality areas.
12. Support of audits by explaining work procedures and processes.
13. Assists, as required, the quality assurance manager and the quality team.
Requirements:
1. Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules.
2. Must be able to work extended hours when required.
3. All other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Skills, Experience and Abilities:
1. High School diploma required.
2. Basic computer skills required.
3. Basic math skills.
4. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
5. Two to five years manufacturing experience required.
Preferred Education, Skills, Experience:
1. Quality system knowledge.
2. Associate degree or higher.
3. Experience with ISO:9001
