Job description

Aircraft Quality Control Inspector

AAR is the place of choice to build an inspiring career. Determines airworthiness of work performed. Examines aircraft, engines, components and materials and records results of inspections to ensure continued airworthiness through accomplishment of the following duties: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Process daily incoming and outgoing material to meet Quality Control requirements as stated in the AAR Procedures Manual and Customer Requirements Manual. Interface with suppliers and product line to disposition rejects. Ensure all overhauls, checks and repairs are carried out in accordance with procedures as required in the applicable manuals and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR). All other duties as assigned.

What you will be responsible for: Commitment to company values and ethics Dependability: personally responsible, completes work in a timely manner, and performs tasks accurately Motivation: must maintain a positive attitude and strong work energy Organization: very detail oriented and always comes prepared Communication: excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills Initiative: plans work and carries out tasks without detailed instructions, prepares for problems or opportunities in advance, undertakes additional responsibilities Strong judgment and decision making Analytical skills: must be able to gather information and use data to determine cause and effect for complex problem solving

What you will need to be successful in this role: Minimum of an FAA Airframe rating is required; both FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings is preferred. 3+ years Inspector experience with fixed wing transport aircraft such as Boeing 737, ERJ 175, Airbus, etc. Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or four years related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
