Role Overview:
We are seeking a Technology Lead with proven experience in core banking transformation programs and strong expertise in deployment architecture, system integration, and solution delivery. This client-facing role involves requirement analysis, solution design, and end-to-end implementation of complex technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in digital transformation initiatives for core banking and a track record of implementing solutions leveraging cloud platforms, containerization, microservices, and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, design solutions, and provide technical consulting.
  • Lead technical architecture design, development and deployment for enterprise Core Banking solutions on public and private clouds such as AWS, GCP, Azure or OpenShift.
  • Support different testing phases-Quality, Assurance, Integration, and Regression-by debugging and resolving application issues across application layers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, product) across geographies to ensure timely and successful delivery of features.
  • Enforce best practices in coding standards, security, and performance optimization.
  • Work with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable deployments.
  • Mentor and guide team members and ensure high-quality deliverables and technical excellence.
Must have skills:
  • 10+ years of technical application development or maintenance experience around core banking digital transformations or retail banking area.
  • Preferred strong knowledge across several of the following areas: scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Node.js), database programming (PL/SQL, PL/pgSQL), shell scripting, Linux text processing and system management tools, YAML, REST API development, programming languages (C/C++, Java), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), postman and DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.
  • Solid grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies and working knowledge on JIRA and Confluence.
  • Demonstrate the ability to quickly grasp requirements and design concepts, ask insightful and clarifying questions to ensure alignment on project goals, and translate these into detailed low-level designs and high-quality code.
  • Proven experience in team building and mentoring developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Good client-facing communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with API-based banking integrations, cloud-native architectures, and microservices.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
Preferred Skills
  • Hands-on experience with Finacle Core Banking solutions, including deployments, implementation or support lifecycle, backend debugging, and customization development-is highly preferred.
  • Finacle Certification from Infosys/EdgeVerve will be considered a strong preference.
