What does a film videographer do?

A film videographer is responsible for capturing moving images on video for various types of film projects, such as movies, documentaries, commercials, and events. They operate cameras, set up lighting, and work closely with directors and other crew members to achieve the desired visual style. In addition to filming, videographers may also handle some aspects of editing and post-production. Their role is essential in bringing a creative vision to life through skilled camera work and technical expertise.

How does a film videographer typically collaborate with directors and other crew members during a production?
