A leading digital streaming network seeks a Development Finance Director (PTVS) to oversee the financial management of television development activities, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, cost tracking, financial reporting, and contract administration, ensuring accurate financial operations, compliance, and strategic decision-making while managing development finance processes and supervising financial staff.

Development Finance Director (PTVS) Responsibilities:

  • Manage all financial aspects of television development, including budgets, forecasts, cash flow, commitment tracking, variance analysis, quarterly estimates, expense forecasting, and financial reporting to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Review development and term deal contracts to update financial and project data within SAP, oversee development commitment reporting, monitor guarantee recoupments, determine project spend timing, and manage billing for co-development, coverage, penalties, and related financial activities.
  • Prepare and review quarterly corporate reporting schedules, balance sheet support, contractual obligation reporting, reconciliations between SAP and BW, journal entries, payment requests, overhead allocations, travel expenses, and purchasing group administration while ensuring compliance with internal controls and approval guidelines.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit requests, perform financial reconciliations, support special projects, conduct ad hoc financial analysis, and partner cross-functionally with Business Affairs, Creative, Production Finance, Planning, and Financial Reporting teams.
  • Supervise and mentor the Senior Financial Analyst while driving process improvements, maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, and supporting efficient financial operations.

Development Finance Director (PTVS) Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of progressive finance, accounting, or financial management experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow analysis, variance analysis, reconciliations, journal entries, and corporate finance processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with SAP, SAP BW, or similar enterprise financial systems is preferred.
  • Experience in film, television, media, entertainment, or production finance is preferred.

Shift:

  • 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
