Course: Writing the Genre Film
Understanding genre conventions and tropes is critical to a screenwriter's success. This course combines script analysis with the practice of writing short scripts for a variety of genres.
What You Will Do:

  • Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends.
  • Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path.

What You Will Bring:
  • Minimum: Master of Fine Arts in Film Production or Screenwriting from an accredited college or university AND
    • At least two years professional experience within the film industry.
