WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Operators will lead inall aspects of operation of extrusion lines (Blown Film or Coater lines) including changeovers, machine start-up, running and shutdown.
  • Support operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with Safety.
  • Run all jobs in accordance with customer specification, manufacturing specification, and standard operating procedures.
  • Organize, record, and ensure proper storage of resin.
  • Adjust machine specifications, pressures, and equipment for each job.
  • Ensure all appropriate paperwork is filled out accurately and completely.
  • Work with and direct the extrusion assistant and other team mates to minimize job change-over and down time.
  • Train and direct the extrusion assistant to become efficient at all the required assistant duties defined in each level of the assistant training matrix on time.
  • While also knowing and understanding the role in product safety.
  • Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives (Cross Training, moving to the work)
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbs
  • Willing and able to stand and walk for an 8/12 hour shift
  • Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting
  • Frequent use of wrist and hands
  • Frequent stepping up and down from platforms
  • Reasonable accommodations will be considered on a case-by-case basis
