Optometric Technician Opportunity

iRefract, a rapidly expanding, nationwide network of optometry offices, is looking for motivated and caring Optometric Technicians to fill a part-time position in our Tulsa, Oklahoma location. This is a unique chance to join a growing, multi-location vision group. Our Optometric Technicians are an essential part of our team! We are searching for experienced technicians who are customer-service oriented, reliable, and hardworking.

Duties Include

  • Pre-test patients by performing pre-exams
  • Verification of insurance and handling payments
  • Ensure proper check-in and check-out procedures
  • Perform business and administrative tasks, such as maintaining eyewear order records, keeping track of customers' prescriptions, answering phones, medical billing, and ordering & maintaining inventory

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the eyecare industry; with experience working with vision plans and conducting insurance verifications preferred but not required
  • Passionate about providing exceptional customer service and excellent communication skills
  • Strong drive and ability to take initiative
  • Detail-oriented, efficient, and accurate multi-tasker
